Lily Pink Morning features lightly scented mauve-pink blossoms with white edges, delicately sprinkled with dark red-pink spots. The strongly recurved petals of the many downward-facing flowers resemble a beautiful chandelier, with up to 50 blooms on a single stem. Although Martagon lilies do well in sunny conditions, they are also a popular choice for shade gardens. Ideal for naturalizing, this vibrant and long-lasting perennial serves as a stunning focal point or a lovely accent.

Lily General Information

Exotic looking! Be patient with Martagon Lilies as sometimes the 1st year they focus their energy on establishing roots and bulb growth; however, season 2 should produce a jaw-dropping display. They bloom just before and with Asiatic Lilies and are hardy down to zone 3. Martagon Lilies, once mature, can produce a profusion of flowers on a single stem - a butterfly favorite!

Lily Plant Care

Martagon Lilies appreciate a dusting of lime annually to the soil. Note: Do not overwater and do not add moisture-retentive amendments such as peat; well-drained soil is ideal. Try to maintain a some woodland leaf compost on top of the soil, but still must have good drainage down where the lily is planted. Dislikes being disturbed once planted.
